James Anthony Zitek was born June 4, 1982 in David City, Nebraska to Gary Alan and Allison Kay (Tuma) Zitek and passed away on Sunday, December 6, 2009 near Holdrege, Nebraska at the age of 27 years, 6 months, 2 days.
Jim was one of five children raised on the family farm. He was a 2000 graduate of East Butler High School and was a graduate of Southeast Community College in Milford in the Auto Body program. On September 25, 2004 Jim was united in marriage to Nicole "Niki" Deanne Novacek in Seward, Nebraska.
Jim was a team leader in the paint department at Duncan Aviation in Lincoln. He was a member of St. Vincent dePaul Catholic Church in Seward. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and being a daddy to their daughter, Kallie and looking forward to the birth of their son in February.
Jim is preceded in death by his grandmother, Betty Tuma and an infant
son, Cole Zitek.
